These terms cover the website. If you've hired me for a project, the Client Terms and your signed agreement govern that work.
The images are the business
Every photograph, film, frame, layout, and word on this site is original work owned by Zulu Creative LLC or licensed to it, and protected by United States copyright law.
Looking is encouraged. Sharing a link is welcome. Beyond that:
You may not, without my written permission:
- copy, download, screenshot, scrape, or reproduce any image or video from this site
- republish the work anywhere, including social media, mood boards, decks, or client presentations
- use any of it commercially, or as reference material for commissioned work
- remove or alter a credit, watermark, or embedded copyright metadata
- crop, recolor, filter, or otherwise create derivative versions
Asking is easy and I'm reasonable about it. Licensing is a service I sell — see the Client Terms.
No AI training. No automated harvesting.
This is not boilerplate, so I'll be specific.
No content on this site — images, video, text, captions, alt text, filenames, or embedded metadata — may be used to train, fine-tune, ground, evaluate, or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning system. This applies to foundation models, generative image and video models, and any dataset assembled for those purposes, whether the use is commercial, academic, or described as research.
No automated collection. Crawling, scraping, harvesting, or systematic downloading by any bot, script, agent, or extraction service is prohibited, except by general-purpose search engine crawlers indexing the site so people can find it.
No generative alteration. You may not run any content from this site through generative tools — inpainting, outpainting, generative fill, style transfer, upscaling, or synthetic extension.
This prohibition is a reservation of rights under applicable text-and-data-mining law. Nothing on this site, and no absence of a technical block, constitutes permission or a waiver. It binds anyone who accesses the site, and it survives any change to the site or these terms.
If your model was trained on this work, you didn't have a license.
Using the site
Don't attempt to breach it, overload it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it. Don't use it for anything unlawful. Don't misrepresent your relationship to me or this studio.

This site links to client work, publications, and social profiles I don't control. Those links aren't endorsements, and I'm not responsible for what's on the other end.
Accuracy and availability
I keep this site current, but I don't warrant that everything on it is complete or error-free, or that it will be available without interruption. Portfolio work shown here represents past projects; it isn't a promise of a specific outcome on yours. Rates and services described here can change — a written quote is the only binding number.
The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zulu Creative LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to $100.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes
I may revise these terms. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
